Assistant Grants Accountant
We are working closely with a rewarding business in Norwich to recruit an Assistant Grants Accountant on either a part or full time basis. Sitting within the Grants Team and working closely with the Finance Team, this role will be responsible for all aspects of Grants, from creation, through maintenance, and reporting.

Located to the West of Norwich, with good transport links into the city and easy access to the routes out of the city, this business is looking to expand its Grants Team and take on a new member. The main responsibilities of this role:
  • Grant Accounting from creation to reporting
  • Negotiating budgets and agreements
  • Liaising with auditors
  • Monitoring and maintaining current grants
  • Assisting in the production of financial reports and analysis
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate:
The business is looking for a motivated candidate with previous experience working with an accounts team, good computer skills are essential, especially with Excel, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both within the team and with external project leaders. A high attention to detail is also key, as well as the individual having values in line with the business, promoting equality and diversity. An AAT qualification is desirable, as is previous experience with Grant reporting, but not essential.
