If this sounds like you, then we have an exciting opportunity for you, my client is recruiting a junior installation engineer who would like to develop a career in the Photocopier repair industry,.

To succeed: You must have a keen interest in IT / Networking/ electronic repair, ideally either 1 or 2 years’ experience in either photocopier repair or IT repair.

Additional training will be provided and will help you develop your Network/ IT /engineering skills, giving you good opportunities for career progression. A passion for customer service is just as important as your skill set and you will be confident in dealing with commercial, corporate customers. Geographical area: Dorset.

Initial Duties:-

You will be expected to:

* Transport equipment to site in a safe controlled manner. Once onsite the devices will be made ready for installation i.e: any solutions must be installed (equitrac, safecom)

* Ensure all relevant devices are ready for loading and transit.

* Ensure all relevant devices are correctly strapped and loaded to conform with safe working practice. etc).

* Any further construction or deconstruction of the device will be carried out i.e: attach document finisher and external fittings

* Respond to call outs in a timely and professional manner, identify and resolve technical faults and undertake all technical modifications as they arise.

* To install and network Multi-functional devices on the customer premises to the customer’s satisfaction.

* Provide advice and training to customers on all aspects of the machines functions in order to ensure customers are fully aware of and utilise the full capabilities of installed device.

As you progress:-

* Undertake relevant training as directed, which will include computer based training in order to ensure up to date knowledge is maintained.

* Undertake all repairs in a safe manner and in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and Health& safety legislation

* To complete all necessary reporting tools such as PDA and laptop in order to ensure continuous improvements in service delivery.

* To maintain car stock to required standards

* To support or respond to service call outs for other service teams as necessary.

To build and maintain a strong working relationship and communicate effectively with other team members, team leaders, field quality managers and service managers, sales and any other relevant department in the company.

To build and maintain professional, confident and friendly relationships with customers and colleagues

* Install / Repair and Service equipment in a professional manner

* Ensure customers receive a first class service

* Implement all appropriate modifications and keep up to date with technical bulletins

* Follow servicing schedules and highlight problem machines

* Take responsibility for car stock

* Pay dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £16,000.00 to £20,000.00 /year
