Protocol Education are always seeking to work with talented and passionate SEN Support workers who are looking to take that change of direction into a school setting.

I am the Senior SEN Consultant for Herts/Beds/Bucks and I work with some amazing SEN schools who are in need of people just like you:

• Dedicated
• Experienced with Special Needs, whether it be adults or young people
• Want to make a difference
• Hard-working and reliable
• Able to maintain a professional outlook even when things get tough
• Always looking to grow themselves to become the best they can be to help support the children

All the above attributes create a positive environment within the classroom.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Taking instruction from the class teacher
• Working on a 1:1 basis with children who have ASD / ADHD / SEMH / MLD / Challenging Behaviour and other associated needs
• Assisting with learning and social skills
• Personal care experience is ideal but not essential
• Carrying out interactive activities to help build their knowledge

If you think that you have what it takes and believe that you hold the correct skills, I would be keen to hear from you and find out more. Please feel free to contact Machaela Huggins at Protocol Education on (phone number removed) for further information. Alternatively, please send an updated CV to (url removed)

We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00
