Our client an IP telecoms company based in Coventry. They are a fast growing and dynamic business looking for an experienced 2nd line support technician to join their team. They have a busy technical support department with support enquiries coming via telephone and email and duties will include dealing with general support enquires as they come in.

As a second line technical support technician, you will also be required to liaise either face to face or over the phone with customers for new phone system setups and will be response for the install, configuration and delivery of end user phone systems.

This is a good opportunity to further the successful candidate’s career in the IT industry working with a range of different IP based telephone system including 3CX, and Asterisk PBXs, as well as managing both Linux and Windows operating systems. The successful candidate would ideally have broad experience working in a busy technical support depart, with good communication in order to liaise with new customers during system setup.


The hours are 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch. The candidate will be expected to cover out of hours support 1 week in 4 which involves being available to take calls on a company supplied mobile phone.


There are 20 days Holiday a year + bank holidays


£23,000 - £26,000 depending on experience and qualifications
