Be a Team Leader This role is all about being responsible for a team of up to 15 participants; providing the supervision, motivation and inspiration to help your team succeed, and enjoy the NCS experience. In brief you will:
  • Remain driven and solutions focused in order to keep participants energy and enthusiasm focused on completing projects and tasks whilst on programme. This includes ensuring that young people complete the required 30 hours of social action planning and delivery as part of the overall programme.
  • Work alongside the Team Mentor in ensuring the wellbeing of all participants is prioritised and supported throughout the programme. This includes some overnight working whilst on residential phases.
  • Deliver high-quality workshop activities in accordance with the NCS curriculum timetable and sessions guide provided. Focus on using innovative and creative methods to appeal to a diverse population of participants who may have different styles of learning in order to ensure that all young people have a positive and meaningful experience.
  • Accountable for ensuring the completion of all administrative and compliance tasks whilst on programme within specified deadlines. Activities include tasks such as participant registrations, social action project reporting, monitoring young person attendance.
Additional Information: Ingeus is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment. Employment will commence following an Enhanced DBS check and 5 years referencing. Availability is required across the duration of the programme, including overnight stays. Attendance is required at all training and pre-programme events. This role is based in Thurrock and Wave dates are: 24/06/2019-15/07/2019 01/07/2019-22/07/2019 15/07/2019-04/08/2019 29/07/2019-18/08/2019
