Halsa Care Group Limited is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive CHIROPRACTOR (Band 5 equivalent) Halsa Care Group Limited specializes in providing care for those with stress and mobility issues. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic chiropractor to join our busy and expanding multi-disciplinary team. You will be based at our clinic in New Malden but may be required to work at any of our clinics. The applicant must meet the eligibility requirements set out below to qualify for the position: Chiropractic qualification mandatory (Masters degree desirable) Registration with General Chiropractic Council (or eligibility to register) Proven relevant experience Experience using the diversified technique Confident public speaker Excellent communication and listening skills Problem-solving and management skills Proven ability to deal with physically demanding work Key duties will include but will not be limited to: taking detailed medical histories, including information on previous injuries, surgery, general health and lifestyle; conducting physical examinations of patients, focusing on the spine and posture, and noting the range of movement; taking and interpreting x-rays, as appropriate; checking blood pressure and performing other medical tests; establishing an appropriate treatment / management plan for the patient to relieve discomfort, restore function and mobility and correct irregularities in body structure; performing adjustments of the joints of the spine and extremities using hands or specialist equipment; educating and advising patients on rehabilitation exercises to aid long-term recovery and techniques to ensure health is maintained; writing reports, keeping accurate and confidential clinical records and maintaining client caseloads; attending case conferences, liaising with other healthcare practitioners and referring patients requiring other medical attention; Participate in community outreach programmes and attend marketing events; and undertaking continuing professional development (CPD) through case review, training, attending conferences and reading professional journals.
