Supply Chain Project Manager Customer Service
Location: Maidenhead (with travel to the North West on a regular basis)
Duration: 9 months +
Rate: 400-550 per day. The role can go permanent for the right candidate
An outstanding opportunity within a world-renowned pharmaceutical organisation. This is a vital role within their supply chain/customer service function and will be focused on process improvement and streamlining after a period of enormous growth. This role will also require aspects of team management for the current team through a period of change.
Work with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to understand the requirements for the successful distribution of product with a recommended 3PL plan in place by May
Document current Customer Service procedures
Identify and document areas of improvement in current procedures existing and newly identified.
Work with the Customer Service team to define a plan to implement process improvements and new processes
Identify KPIs for ongoing delivery of Customer Service excellence
Identify areas to enhance Customer Service functioning resourcing and technology
Provide oversight during the peak Customer Service supply and order taking period to access the impact of the changes to date and identify further enhancements to procedures, training and resourcing.
Project Management/Process Improvement in Customer Service/Supply Chain
SAP experience is desirable
Ability to travel to the North West on a regular basis to visit alternative sites
