Helpdesk Executive (Conference Centre)

London, E16

We are seeking a super friendly Helpdesk Executive to join a world leading exhibitions and international convention centre based between Canary Wharf and London City Airport. You can expect a diverse and rewarding role that will see you providing assistance to all internal and external customers.

Hosting over 300 events a year and welcoming over 4 million visitors, from every corner of the globe, this leading venue boasts a fully flexible auditorium, catering & exhibition space and a multitude of meeting rooms, from boardrooms to a 1,000 seat theatre. They are now seeking an Helpdesk Executive to join their Building Services Department and be the first port of call for all clients, visitors, exhibitors and internal staff to report faults, largely by telephone.

Playing a key role in the customer experience the Helpdesk Executive must have excellent verbal communication skills both face to face and over the telephone. The Helpdesk Executive will be responsible for managing all incoming calls, capturing all incoming data, update and manage the CRM system to log all incoming faults and issues, ensuring they are reported to the relevant departments; manage the priority of issues in line with company SLA's, process events manifests and liaise with internal and external contacts to ensure required activities are in place as well as managing the diaries of events and supporting the Building Services Manager as required. The Helpdesk Executive will be a proactive organiser who will be friendly and able to multi task and think on their feet to deal with issues as they arise.

To qualify... We are seeking a proactive, organised and flexible Helpdesk Executive / Helpdesk Administrator / Customer Support Admin / Sales Support Administrator / Sales Support Admin / Customer Service Administrator / Office Administrator / Sales Coordinator or similar who can show:

  • Experience in a similar Helpdesk position;
  • Confidence/accurate usage of databases – able to adapt to new systems quickly
  • Ability to demonstrate a warm, welcoming and friendly presence
  • Empathetic, responsive and thoughtful of people's needs even in stressful situations
  • Adopting of a positive, proactive and flexible approach to duties and hours
  • You are patient and calm under pressure
  • Demonstrable understanding of Health & Safety and First Aid
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite to an intermediate level.
