Service Desk Coordinator - Newmarket

DURATION; PERMANENT, FULL TIME

SALARY; £18,000-£19,500 per annum (DOE)

Hours - Rota based (5 shifts per week, including 1 in 3 weekends)

This exciting opportunity as come about due to the rapid growth of the Service Desk Team with our Client based in Newmarket, Suffolk.

You will be ensuring that customers are kept up to date with the progress of queries logged with engineers by phone call, email or through internal links. You will also be booking access for engineers to ensure they can get on site and ensuring customers are aware of the latest ETAs for their service visits. Validating calls and arranging revisits are important parts of this job.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Control of all customer data
  • Logging customer calls
  • Monthly SLA management
  • Resolution of aged calls
  • Planning revisits
  • Call validation
  • Customer communication

Skills/Knowledge required:

  • Experience in a Service Desk Coordinator role (or equivalent)
  • Excellent listening skills with clear verbal and written skills
  • Confident with IT systems and software packages
  • Organised and Methodical
