As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help fulfil the full service proposition - and be essential to your store’s success. You take care of a whole range of tasks, from tracking store sales and checking stockroom standards, to briefing and coaching the team. You’re always there when the store gets busy, ensuring the shop floor runs smoothly and showing the team how great selling is done. In fact, you’ll be indispensable to the manager and ready to deputise when they’re away. You’ve got the skills and confidence to sign off changes to visual merchandising, and ensure Health & Safety and security guidelines are observed. Plus, you’re a great brand ambassador who really knows how to champion Clarks. With your in-depth knowledge of our products, as well as the competition, you can maximise sales, uphold standards and give customers an outstanding experience. In short, you’re equipped for the end-to-end sales cycle.
Ideally, you’ll have worked in a similar role before. That means you’ll know how to encourage and motivate others, so they always go above and beyond. You’ll also be good with people and fantastic in a team.
