Hutcheon Mearns have been engaged to source an exceptional Finance Manager for our client; a mid-sized private equity backed oil service company which is offers this role on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months. Our client will consider both qualified and non-qualified individuals for this opportunity however, you must display a progressive career to date with recent experience in a similar role. The successful individual will assume responsibility for overseeing month and year-end reporting including the preparation of management and statutory accounts, presenting financial information to the Board and monitoring business performance. In addition, you will manage the cash flow, budget, forecasting and annual audit processes throughout the year. With a fair and professional approach to the leadership and management of people, you will possess the ability to influence and motivate a team. Moreover, you must display exceptional communication skills to manage and develop relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. The desired candidate will be highly numeric with strong attention to detail and excellent planning and organisational skills. You will have a track record of improving the efficiency of processes and procedures by looking for innovative ways in which to carry out tasks. With first class analytical and presentation skills, you will be accustomed to performing a hands-on role whilst getting involved in ad hoc project work whilst considering the wider business.
