Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher in a local SEMH school in Salford. This is a full-time teaching role, covering a Mathematics and some Humanities which will commence in September 2019.

The role

The desired Mathematics Teacher will have a passion for working within an environment where pupils can sometimes exhibit some challenging behaviour, and have a flexible approach to working, helping narrow the gap for pupils who are behind where they should be.

The school

The position is working in a Special Needs School working with young people with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.


To be considered for the position of Mathematics Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience of teaching Maths or Science at KS3 & 4
Either experience of, or a desire to work with SEMH children
