I am recruiting exclusively for a SQL developer to join my client within the Leicester region. The client I am dealing with are at the forefront of digital marketing and are well Established all over the UK. They work with various clients and have built impressive relationships with large providers that you will have heard of assisting them with their marketing strategies all over the board. The team have a very relaxed working environment living by the philosophy that if you work hard, you can play hard also. Role duties & overall responsibilities

  • You will Interpret requirements (briefs) and liaise with our Client Services and client technical contacts as required
  • You will be designing and developing data processing and composition solutions for direct mail and transactional document production in mono or colour format for delivery through print and electronic channels
  • On a day to day basis your role will be to manipulate data using various BI tools to create solutions, reports etc
  • Using SQL on a day to day basis to assist with extracting and manipulating data
  • Assist in process improvement to reduce the cost of quality and to increase efficiency and client satisfaction

You Ideally will have

  • You will possess strong skills within SQL Development
  • You will have used Cygnus or equivalent data processing application
  • Be skilled in one or more scripting or programming languages
  • Have 2 or more years’ experience as a BI / Systems or SQL Developer
  • If you also have experience using office tools such as C#, ASP.NET, XML & HTML this will assist with your application
