Programme PMO Manager (Hybrid role - Project Management experience required) [ref#: 823077]
Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client in Luton for a Programme PMO Manager who can also offer Project Management capabilities to deliver projects when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an ambitious fast paced organisation.
This role involves operating in an unstructured environment with challenging stakeholders. Strong capabilities in managing a PMO and actually delivering projects is sought.

The key purpose of the role is to support the efficient running of a Cyber Security/GDPR Programmes which includes:

*Coordinating activities and communications on the Cyber Security/GDPR Programmes, providing critical input to the Programme Steering Committee and being the main point of contact between the Programme and Corporate PMO
*Being the custodian and central repository for all Programme information - acting as a point of contact to orientate new team members and other interested stakeholders to the Programme
*Coordinating all the Programme level risks, issues and actions; tracking the budget, leading on all reporting requirements (including Board level), both across the programme and out to the wider business
*Supporting a successful programme by providing financial and resource management co-ordination (c£2-3m/year programme)
*Helping maintain the overall Programme Plan, coordinating all critical Programme meetings and assisting in the quality assurance of project outputs
*Programme highlight reporting
*Programme finance reporting
Project Management Capability, i.e.:
*Solid understanding of project management principles, in a very demanding high growth environment.
*Supports the tracking of financial and non-financial project benefits.
*Ensures key project meetings are planned with agreed Purpose and Outcomes (POST); followed up promptly with agreed actions.
*Provides discipline to the project plan, by capturing agreed actions and timelines; then chasing these to completion.

Candidate requirements
*PMO Management experience
*Experience delivering projects in a fast paced unstructured environment.
*Demonstrable project and/or change management experience, risk management, monitoring and reporting
*Excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills; able to communicate and influence at different levels of the business; good stakeholder management
*Strong attention to detail; clear process and delivery focus; robust, disciplined and thorough
*Ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and find workable solutions when faced with challenges
*Flexible in approach; always seeks more efficient ways of doing things
*Strong analytical skills demonstrated preferably through previous experience
*Proficiency in MS Office , in particular good skills with MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint
*Relevant project management qualifications e.g. 'MSP' or 'Prince'
*Familiarity with technical IT transformation projects although not essential would be an advantage
