We are recruiting a Sales Account Manager to join a Technology Services Provider who specialise in network infrastructure projects and services. Suitable candidates will have a background in technology sales of Structured Cabling, Fibre, LAN, Wireless and associated technology.
This role is a mix of account management and new business with existing accounts to pick up
Responsibilities include:
* Responsible for identifying and closing existing and new business, focusing on Channel business with a strong emphasis on infrastructure to include LAN, Wifi and retail technologies
* lead sales engagement, new business presentations, proposal development through to order close.
* Generate a pipeline of opportunities capable of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Follow up and qualify all generated leads.
* Manage and develop any allocated accounts with the aim of increasing wallet share through upselling and cross-selling activities.
Skills and Experience
* A demonstrable track record of building and delivering a successful new IT solutions sales pipeline in Channel / Sell Through accounts/ Distribution.
* A good understanding of the end to end delivery and support of network Infrastructure and associated services to include: WAN, LAN, Wifi and professional services and manage services.
* A credible track record in the Channel/Distribution market would be a significant advantage.
* A highly motivated Sales person.
* Prepared to travel
