Digital Business Analyst

Central Bristol - £35,000 - £45,000

Working within a well-known Professional Services company. You will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Business Analysis in driving and supporting the integration of new technical initiatives and business change projects.

This position will best suit a Business Analyst that has had previous experience with working on either Web/APP based projects.

Key Deliverables

  • Author requirements and supporting documentation, balancing timely delivery and high-quality
  • Defining functional and non-functional requirements from a range of stakeholders and own these throughout the project lifecycle
  • You are responsible for driving usability and understanding client's UX needs
  • Eliciting and Documenting System Data, structuring data in a range of data models, including conceptual, logical and physical
  • Communicate with individual stakeholders and groups, demonstrations, and walkthroughs, both pre-arranged and ad-hoc
  • Contribution to inception and elaboration project activities
  • Supporting development and testing activities, ideally as part of agile, iteration driven delivery

Experience/Technical Knowledge

  • Demonstrable operations in both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to use modelling techniques (AS-IS, TO-BE flow diagrams, use cases, user journeys and wireframes)
  • A proven track record of delivering software with in-depth understanding of the full SDLC
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building
  • Background with working on both website / mobile app projects.
  • Supporting development and testing activities.
  • Ability to handle and engage a range of stakeholders from IT and the business
  • Ability to cope well under pressure and manage multiple priorities, projects and deliverables
  • Basic understanding of data protection legislation
