Our client, an established company within the financial services sector, is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis to join there rapidly expanding organisation

Key Responsibilities

* Introducing internal capability for business modelling and longer range forecasting across the group which will, in time, form the beginnings of future due diligence preparation

* Working with function department heads to develop and enhance existing and create new commercially focussed business models with flexible capabilities to calculate both consequence of changes in key business drivers and able to reverse engineer drivers back into revenue and resource required to deliver targets

* Jointly working with members of a team to enhance commercial business reporting which caters and balances requirements of both business and investors

* Working with executive directors to compile content for annual budget presentation to investors, incorporating business as usual and acquisitions

* Creating/analysing data extracts for the business and investors, translating raw data into intelligent and informative analyses for utilisation in commercial discussion, reporting and modelling

* Introducing rolling forecasting which can easily translate into formal annual budgets with minimal additional work

* Enhancing operational and capex tracking to ensure approved expenditure is incorporated into rolling forecasts, budgets and longer term projections

* Working with the Group Financial Controller to monitor project spend during a period of intense IT development, integration and investment in new hires

* Introducing informative people resource reporting to ensure the Board are regularly updated on both P&L and cash impact of investment spend during rapid investment phase

* Supporting the Commercial Director with profitability analysis and reporting which can include, but not limited to, geographical , product, sales course analysis

* Participating in Power BI project, MI reporting tool being introduced into the business shortly

Special Requirements:

* Excellent Excel/Microsoft office skills

* Excellent communication skills (at all levels) effectively in writing, on a one-to-one basis and by phone with a range of people, including managers and directors

* Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

* Energetic, enthusiastic, confident

* Ability to manage own workload effectively/efficiently, working to strict deadlines and staying calm when handling high levels of pressure

* Ability to independently problem solve plus handle critical decision-making

* Self-disciplined/efficient/flexible/proactive/reliable/approachable

* Strong attention to detail
