They are a leading manufacturing company based in South Oxfordshire, are looking for a part time accounts assistant. Based in Abingdon, with a family feel, this role will be reporting to the Financial Controller.
Your new role
You'll be responsible for all transactional duties including but not limited to the Sales Ledger - chasing debt, sales invoices, raising credit notes, Purchase Ledger - purchase invoices, delivery notes, creditors balance, Daily Bank accounts reconciliations (two GBP accounts and one EUR account), Month end Euro bank account revaluation, Cash Flow, Month End - reconciling balances as required, Process month end nominal journals (prepayments etc.) as required, Petty Cash and Expenses.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be an experienced accounts assistant with previous use of accountancy systems. Use of working with excel and word, also making sure that you have experience with dealing with customers in all circumstances. Previous use of admin skills and tasks, such as telephone calls, post, emails etc.
