Your new role
You will lead and provide direction to your store team. You will oversee the performance of the store including turnover, operations, recruitment and people management, and visual merchandising. You have the opportunity in the role to make changes and be experimental - if you think there's a better way of working, you can come into this store and make a real difference. You will also be tasked with motivating the store team to perform to the best of their abilities, so your excellent people management and coaching skills will be used. No day will be the same and you will work to maximise sales, maintain excellent customer service and store standards. Your input will be valued too, the company actively encourages their store managers to feed back to head office and make recommendations on the brands or kinds of products they should stock.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should already be working at Assistant Manager or Store Manager level in a fashion retailer. You should have skills in leadership and motivation and excellent people management skills. With any Store Manager role, there will be some weekend and holiday working required with some opening and closing responsibilities, so you will need the flexibility to support this.
