We are recruiting! We are currently working with an excellent school in North Lincolnshire, who are searching for a Design Technology teacher to work with them for the summer term.

Tradewind are currently working with an excellent school in North Lincolnshire, that is easily commutable from Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Lincoln. The school is in need of a Design Technology Teacher to cover a period of absence due to an operation, and this is expected to last from after the Easter break, until at least May half term. The school are looking for a teacher who has experience with resistant materials and woodwork, and who would relish the opportunity to do practical work with the students. There may be an element of food technology in this position, so experience in this would be desirable but not at all essential.

The school is a wonderful school that has an excellent reputation. Behaviour in the school is good, and there is a mutual respect between the students and staff, making it a very pleasant working environment. The technology department is a truly inclusive department, and they are looking forward to welcoming an experienced member of staff into their department. This position will be paid to scale, meaning that students can expect to earn between £120.00 and £179.00 per day for this excellent position. The school also have a habit of bringing back familiar staff for their daily supply needs, meaning this could be an excellent opportunity for a supply teacher to receive regular work.

There may be the opportunity for some A level teaching in this position, so if you have the desire for A level teaching it could be an excellent position for you.

We are looking for:

• A teacher who can teach Resistant Materials to Key Stage 4 students.

• A teacher who can teach Food Technology to Key Stage 3 students.

• A committed practitioner who wants to attain the highest standards for their students.

• A practitioner who is dedicated to creating innovative lessons for their students.

• A teacher with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
