Job Title: Assessor - Management / Customer Service / Admin (Trainee or Qualified)

We are delighted to offer this role as a Trainee or Qualified opportunity - full training will be provided for the successful candidate to achieve the Trainer/Assessor award.

Location: Cornwall

Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold solid occupational competency within a managerial role.
  • Ideally hold a level 3 NVQ in Management.
  • Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills to Level 2 (training will be provided)
  • Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Duties:

  • Train, assess and deliver full Apprenticeships in Management level 3, Team Leading level 2, Customer Service and Admin levels 2 and 3.
  • Deliver full training and support learners through their Functional Skills - Maths and English at level 2.
  • Visiting/observing learners in their place of work to gather evidence towards their QCF Diploma.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners.
  • Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
  • Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload.

  • Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
  • Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
  • Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
