On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Export Control Manager for a contract running to January 2020 based in Derby.

The role:

The purpose of the role is to provide knowledge, guidance and advice on export control legislation and procedures to enable the organisation to make sound strategic business decisions. To establish and maintain arrangements necessary to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

As the Export Control Manager – Installations, you will;

* Monitor and keep up-to-date with the export regulations of all countries with which the organisation conducts

* Liaise with other export control personnel to develop an understanding of the impact of export regulations on the business of the

* Identify opportunities to influence export legislation and implementation and work with the Heads of Export Control Compliance and the Director, Strategic Export Control to provide expertise to the legislative process.

* Develop an organisational understanding of and adherence to export control

* Develop and implement strategies for export control compliance in line with the needs of the organisation and corporate export control compliance

* Is part of the global team which provides specialist knowledge, guidance and advice to the organisation on export control issues relating to its strategic and tactical

* Develop and provide general and organisation-specific training and communication on export control.

* Determine which export authorisations the organisation requires for its exports, prepare and submit applications, and ensure that processes are in place to comply with the provisions of the

* Lead or participate in Integrated Project Teams across all functions and all geographical locations addressing export control

The Candidate:

In order to be successful in this role you will possess all or some of the below criteria:

* Specialist knowledge of relevant export

* Ability to analyse complex business situations and to advise on the impact of export control

* Ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical processes for export control
