Job Title: Quality Manager – (Work Based Learning / Apprenticeships)

Location: North Wales / Cheshire border (Office and Home based) - Must be flexible with travel

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (Dependent upon experience)

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Duties include:

- Working closely with the Delivery Managers, Sales and IQA team, to manage, review and improve quality processes, for the delivery of Apprenticeships, ensuring excellent quality is maintained throughout the business.
- Oversee and support a small team of IQA's to ensure excellent performance and delivery is maintained.
- Responsible for ensuring that staff adhere to internal and external quality assurance standards.
- Lead on all quality inspections from external agencies (Ofsted / Awarding Bodies etc.), and ensure that all staff involved are prepared.
- Embed Matrix and ISO standards into day to day practices.
- Monitor the ‘learner journey’ process, ensuring that best practice is followed by all staff.
- To make sure self-assessment reports are completed efficiently, and improvements are implemented by all staff.
- Conduct quality observations and internal audits to ensure consistency and compliance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Create development plans where required, to improve quality and performance.
- Coordinate / lead internal standardisation meetings, keeping up to date with any industry changes, and providing updates to all staff.
- Produce regular management reports on quality within the business and present to senior management team.
- Monitor the use of data throughout the business, making sure data is reliable, and processed lawfully and effectively.

Essential Criteria:

- Proven experience as a Quality Manager within the WBL industry.
- Experience of monitoring and improving quality standards within the WBL sector.
- Must have experience of managing / leading Ofsted inspections, and fully aware of what is required to achieve an Outstanding result.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
