Brewster Partners are working exclusively with our successful, privately owned multi-million pound client based in Chesterfield who, due to an internal promotion, are looking for an experienced Marketing Analyst to join their Marketing team.

The main purpose of the Marketing Analyst is to collate, monitor and study business data to create reports on the market, our competitors, our product range and pricing to aid business strategy.

The role requires excellent analytical and communication skills to be able to develop and communicate the product strategy across various functions and levels within the organisation.

• Analysis of their competitors to maintain in depth knowledge of their range, pricing and strategy

• Analysis of Switch Analysis and Proposals for customers, validating proposed pricing and margins

• Range analysis to establish gaps in sales performance or trends that are developing

• Range Reviews to identify products that are nearing the end of their life cycle

• Analysis of all pricing structures across the business

• Overall Customer Pricing Maintenance

• Relevant communications to purchasing, finance or the warehouse regarding the category

• Marketing Director Weekly Activity Report


The Marketing Analyst role would suit someone who loves number crunching! You will be an expert on Microsoft Excel and love collating data and analysing market trends

Strong negotiation and rapport building skills are key to success as the business is fast moving and ever changing. You will have a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial approach.

• Degree qualified (desirable)

• Commercial understanding

• Proven track record of working to tight deadlines

Salary - £24,000 - £27,000pa

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, 1 hour for lunch
