The IT Service Analyst provides first and second line technical support to users of the company’s case management system, MS operating system, MS Office and telephony systems. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a suitably skilled person to train and develop in this sector.

You will be the first point of contact for incidents, faults and a range of service requests. Support and guidance are provided to the users in Sevenoaks and the other remote offices. This will include diagnosing, troubleshooting and applying diagnostic techniques to resolve issues. Part of the role will involve delivery of patching and antivirus updates promptly. Maintaining accurate system documentation is also required. Reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager, you will also be involved and contribute to service improvements in network and user support related projects.

The role requires some travel to other sites in the UK in particular the London office. You will be part of a part of a larger Service Desk Team, the majority of which are based in the Leeds office, where initial training may take place.

About You

You should have good academic qualifications preferably to include IT qualifications and a very good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (2010). You should be keen to work in a technical / help-desk role and have the capability to be trained to support the users of bespoke case management and workflow systems and to provide support on hardware, network and telephonic equipment.

Some previous technical, customer service or helpdesk experience is desirable and candidates must possess very good communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be organised in your approach with strong attention to detail. Analytical and problem solving skills are important and you should be able to demonstrate initiative, drive and a pro-active approach to your work.

Hours of Work

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.30pm (additional hours may be required).
