My client is active for over 20 years in the medical product development & distribution and is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team immediately. Full time, permanent position, good recent experience in accountancy is required. The position will suit an individual who is a Part Qualified/ Qualified AAT with sound knowledge in using “Sage 50” and good in Excel.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with good experience looking to join a fast-paced office environment.

• Able to multi-task and prioritise work effectively

• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office , relevant accounting software (e.g. Sage 50)

• At least 1+ year Accounting Experience

What will you be doing:

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices

• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

• Process Customers receipts & Supplier payments

• Credit control monthly statements and letters generation

• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

• Assist with other accounting projects

£18,000 - £19,000 per annum – depend on skills and experience
