12 month fixed term

This a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join an impressive company based in North Liverpool

This is a maternity cover post for 12 - 13 months employed on a fixed term basis directly for the company.

The Role

The Payroll manager will be responisble for the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll inline with the company policies and procedures and will manage a small team.

Duties include:

  • Processing of Monthly and Weekly payroll
  • Managing 2 direct reports
  • Completing reports and maintaining records
  • Responding to payroll queries
  • Reconciling payroll accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Completing End of Year procedures including P11d, P60, EPS reconciliations
  • Pension calculations
  • Administration of company benefits schemes
  • Updating the wider team and providing accurate reports inline with deadlines

Experience required:

  • Processing monthly and weekly payroll
  • Experience managing a small payroll team is essential
  • Up to date knowledge and experienced of current legislation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills - experience using payroll portals and platforms
