gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a Electrical Process Leader to work at their facility based near Wrexham

Performance Objectives

Sustainability:

* Ensures and maintains safe working conditions while enforcing safety rules and regulations, including statutory checks to equipment.

* Is a trained Behaviour Based Safety Observer.

* Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in Plant and Corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.

* Make sure potential risks are contained and reported as soon as possible. Participates in investigation of accidents.

* Facilitates environmental protection, energy optimisation and waste management. This includes promoting correct segregation of waste, regular inspections and investigating environmental incidents as required.

* Performs duties without posing a direct threat to anyone or to property.

Performance (Output, Efficiency, Spoilage):

* Ensures necessary actions are taken to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery: set targets, track daily achievements, make appropriate adjustments in resources and organisation, analyse results, identify and implement actions to attain desired result.

* Ensures all standard procedures are followed within the area of responsibility (safety, quality, 5S, attendance) react to deviation.

* Work with the team as needed to perform maintenance, repairs, machine adjustments, project work, troubleshooting.

* Conducts inspection of process equipment.

* Responsible for replenishing supplies, materials and parts required for assigned area via the Apriso System.

* Reviews and develops SOPs and control plans relevant to their area on a regular basis.

* Develop work instructions for both routine and non-routine tasks, utilizing Risk Assessments and other appropriate tools as and when required.

Electrical:

* Support Electrical Team Leader Function.

* Prioritise hands on support and reacting effectively to ongoing shift electrical problems.

* Develop ability to adapt to chasing priorities.

* To develop Electrical Department to maximise and deliver in-house Plant maintenance.

* To support and manage projects where required.

* To manage maintenance improvement projects.

Person Specification

* Qualifications: Electrical Engineering HNC or equivalent experience

* Computer Skills: Word, Excel, Drawing Packages, Siemens S7, Integrated Safety

* 3-5 years’ experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable.

* Siemens S7 and Safety Systems knowledge and implementation.

* An understanding of CE compliance and requirements experience is essential.

* An understanding of high speed manufacturing and support requirements is essential.
