Our client have an exciting new position that's being introduction to the business. As the Customer Forecast Planner you will bring a wealth of experience to adapt their current demand and forecast planning. Working cross functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, internal and external Customers.

A leading manufacturing business based in Bradford, they have a global presence working with key accounts that they want to advance and maintain a proactive, can do service. This requires the function to be as agile as possible while maintaining achievable service delivery.

Based in Bradford the role of Customer Forecast Planner / Customer Demand Planner will work in a fast paced environment ensuring the timely delivery of materials in line with customer demand and forecast.

You will

• Own the Demand Planning & S&OP process

• Partnering with internal functions; commercial finance, sales, marketing and supply chain to deliver operational excellence

• The successful candidate will have extensive S&OP and demand planning experience

• Have a hands-on approach to operations, which is essential, with the ability to communicate at all levels in the business and appreciate day to day issues

• Be highly adept from a commercial and strategic perspective, with proven experience of identifying and implementing business change

• Take ownership of forecast program operations and be accountable for daily, weekly, monthly reports rolling out the forecast demand plan

• Be innovative and driven to consistently improve and grow the business with all stakeholders

• Lead the monthly S&OP Process meeting ensuring volume forecast & financial targets are managed against targets, mitigating any risks and resolving issues throughout

• Have Material Requirement Planning experience (MRP) utilising and installing systems to manipulate accurate data for projected growth and other market insight

• Own the accurate data of critical value chain inputs supporting the complexity of the manufacturing and process flow

Knowledge & Experience:

• Degree Qualified, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain or Engineering related discipline

• Previous Demand Planning experience is essential

• SAP experience preferred

• Strong analytical and cost calculation skills

• Good interpersonal skills with a ‘can-do’ attitude

• Excellent organisation skills

• Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel
