My clients are a very busy online baby equipment company. They started the journey selling nursery goods on eBay and quickly became the No1 top rated power seller in the UK and largest baby megastore in Europe. Now the leading independent supplier of nursery products in the UK and operate out of 2 dispatch centres in the Manchester area. They have doubled our volume of sales in the last 12 months, selling through 3rd party platforms and our own website and have aggressive growth plans moving forward.

We’re now looking for an E-commerce Marketing Executive to join our team and manage the products we sell on our own site, eBay and Amazon. The role will involve adding products and images, writing search-friendly content and keeping product information up to date. You’ll also monitor the prices being advertised on other businesses websites and ensure we are competitive across all our sales platforms as well as carrying out general team marketing tasks.

We are a fast-paced business, growing quickly, and we want people who can roll their sleeves up, get stuck in and that can cope with a small amount of chaos.

This position would be a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the e-commerce sector.

E-commerce Marketing Executive Key roles and responsibilities:

* Updating the website using our content management system

* Editing and uploading product photography

* Monitoring competitor pricing

* Writing search-friendly content

* Identifying and dealing with issues with products and/or stock levels

* Developing reports to assist in product selection and sales strategies

* Identifying and recommending areas for development

E-commerce Marketing Executive Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

* 24 months experience in a similar role

* E-commerce experience in a similar role working with platforms such as Amazon or eBay is desired

* Experience of using website content management systems

* Basic knowledge of marketing principles including SEO

* IT literate with strong skills in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (advanced Excel would be preferable)

* Experience in image editing software e.g. Photoshop

* Excellent writing skills and a comprehensive understanding of the English language

* Good attention to detail

* Problem-solving, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
