Our client is an established retailer in the health & beauty sector. A Wholesale Accounts Manager is needed to join on a 12 month basis. Wholesale accounts include some large department stores, online retailers and niche independent stockists. We see this as an excellent opportunity for someone to add value to the wholesale channel business for a great ethical brand.
Wholesale channel management / liaison.
HQ and customer account liaison in relation to wholesale sales/business
Develop strategic accounts
Improve business services wholesale accounts
Seek new sales opportunities UK wide
Liaising with other depts.: Sales Support, Dispatch, Marketing, Product Development, Creative, PR, Visual merchandising, Product Dispatch.
Review of product training needs for customers / training planning
Assist in events, promotions, competition development
Ownership of Accounts profit and loss, liaising with the Head of Wholesale.
Keep up to date with products and competitors.
Experience developing and maintaining key relationships within Wholesale.
People skills: influencing, coaching, people management.
Budgeting, forecasting, report-writing.
This role is based in Central London but will require travel to wholesale accounts for meetings (department stores / independents) and these could be UK wide. Over-night stays may be needed for some visits.
