Are you looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) role?
We are looking for a self-motivated and inspiring SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) for our client in the Ashford area. The role will be to provide support, either individually or in a small group in all areas of the lower school. This post is full-time SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) job, term time only.
This specialist provision, based in a rural area of Ashford, provides therapeutic care and education to children with severe emotional and behavioural problems. This Teaching Assistant (TA) role will be based on purpose-built facilities in the Ashford area. Support is provided by an experienced team, including ongoing CPD. Regular team meetings will give support to all staff. Ofsted has highlighted the strong leadership of the school and the relationships between staff and students. "Pupils show good attitudes to learning. Good relationships between staff and pupils mean that classrooms are happy places to be."
As the successful SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be resilient, nurturing and reflective. Ideally, we are looking for experience of working in a school environment along with knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by young people with SEBD and other SEN needs. However, experience in other child-based settings will also be considered with a background of working with children with emotional and behavioural needs.
