An excellent school located in Carlisle have approached Vida Education to recruit them a well-driven, motivated Chemistry teacher to teach both KS3 and KS4. This role is long term and will start April 2019.

The secondary school are looking for a dynamic individual who is dedicated to students learning and success and brings to the school a positive attitude. The ideal candidate will have a diverse method of teaching that inspires and motivates students to perform to their maximum ability whilst having fun, they will also be organised in terms of lesson planning, marking and seeing that students are on target especially during KS4. Desirably, the candidate will also be able to cover other science lessons (Biology & Physics) if a teacher is absent.

This role due to start in April 2019 will run for the rest of the academic year.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualifications.
  • Be able to teach Chemistry at a high standard for KS3 & KS4
  • Have a good knowledge of current National Curriculum.
  • Have high expectations for achievement and behaviour in order to reach their students full potentials.
