As a Travel Support Executive, you will receive a fantastic starting salary of between up to £25,000 depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits including; Private healthcare, business incentive scheme, lunch allowance, childcare vouchers, roadside assistance, travel insurance and much more.

This position is offered on a 12-18 month contract working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Based in central Croydon with immediate proximity to the train station, trams and buses in the area, travelling to work couldn’t be easier on a daily basis.

Acting as first point of contact for all customers and claims, as well as ensuring compliance of the website and documents, assisting in new schemes, supplier processing, reporting monthly figures and working closely with other key areas of the business, this will be a very busy role, however will certainly offer variety and new challenges.

  • Ensure existing provider contracts are reviewed, and recommended changes are tracked and discussed with the legal team before submission to partners for discussion and agreement
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of a fully transparent supplier data warehouse of services, supplier information, fees and performance
  • Website compliance
  • Product development and implementation (including proof reading Policy Wordings; creating IPIDs, confirmation emails, business rules; obtaining translations (via an external company) etc.);
  • Support (as required) the rest of the Nordic and Baltic team in the creation of business proposals and presentations and on occasion to attend client meetings.
  • Provide accurate reports.
  • Budgets / quarterly reports / Trends and Market patterns/revenue and claims figures.
  • Log and coordinate client complaints received directly in the department.
  • Provide support to customers (via email) and claim handlers (via email and phone).
  • Reporting. Produce monthly graphs for the Country Manager showing sales figures (enter figures and format graph).
  • Customer renewal reminders. Use mail merge to send emails to customers whose annual insurance is about to expire.
  • The role may grow to encompass other key tasks.

Do you have the experience required?

Our client is looking for candidates who have come from an administrative background essentially within the travel/medical/automotive sectors, insurance or assistance. You will possess excellent attention to detail, be strongly numerical and results driven. This position offers a great working environment and fantastic development

Strong written and spoken Nordic languages would be beneficial alongside the essential skills set.

  • GCSE/A 'Level or equivalent
  • Previous Travel insurance experience
  • Strong IT skills, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages especially Excel
  • High attention to detail, organised and ability to manage multiple tasks whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Worked within a quality oriented / regulated environment
  • Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
  • Strongly numerate, able to interpret data and draw conclusions from information supplied
  • Self-motivated with a highly disciplined work ethic requiring minimum supervision
  • Proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Flexibility to travel and accommodate overnight stays outside of the UK
