Your new company Based on the outskirts of Glasgow, our client is recruiting for a Finance Assistant on a week-to-week basis initially. There is the potential for a longer term role for the right candidate. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. The organisation is accessible by public transport and there is on site parking. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work as part of a team of 3 and you will be responsible for a range of purchase ledger tasks. Duties will include (but are not limited to); invoicing, matching, batching and coding of invoices, handling supplier queries, payment runs and general associated purchase ledger administration. The IT system used is Sage 200. What you'll need to succeed Experience of Sage 200 is essential. You must also have proven, successful purchase ledger experience. A personable and professional manner both in person and on the telephone is required as you will liaise daily with colleagues and clients.
