Based in Spalding on an 8 month contract. The working hours are 37.5 hours per week on 3 rotas - 08.00 - 16.30/08.30 - 17.00/09.30-18.00 (the option to be on a static shift is available). The purpose of this role is to deliver 1st and 2nd line support to clients (internal and external). The aim is to resolve and control the root cause of errors within the IT infrastructure and applications and to restore normal service as quickly as possible to minimise the effect on business operations. Applicants will need to have a keen interest in technology, experience of working within an IT support environment, a high degree of technical knowledge in end user computing, mobile/fixed telephony, printers and business applications. This is a customer focused role, therefore the successful person will be an excellent communicator and a strong team player. Candidates who have knowledge or experience of working within the food industry and experience or understanding of an ITIL environment would have a distinct advantage.
