Business Systems Analyst – IFS – Basildon – Up to £45,000 + Bonus & Benefits
A cutting-edge organisation are currently looking for a flexible and supportive Business Systems Analyst with excellent IFS knowledge to join their expanding IT team located in Essex.

The Role

As the Business Systems Analyst, you will be a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations, recommending and implementing system solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals. Your daily duties will include, but won’t be limited to:

- Translating business requirements into operational system solutions.
- Interpreting and analysing business rules and requirements for technical systems
- Designing, testing and implementing system functionally
- Maintaining the BPM and all its scenarios
- Ensuring extensive system testing for semantic and syntactic logic errors prior to production
- Providing training to supervisors and key users, as well as 1st line support staff and operations users

From an IFS perspective, you will be involved with a number of tasks including batch queue administration, bug fixing, data migration, IFS release organisation and deployment and IFS Connect setup.

About You

The suitable candidate will have good knowledge of business and systems analysis, with proven relevant and practical experience working with the IFS system, including project implementation in all IFS modules. You’ll have experience of writing detailed requirement and functional specifications for complex business applications, as well as the ability to create and maintain auditable processes for any IFS-related changes. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will be able to able to understand and develop .Net applications to expand the functionality of the IFS system to other areas of the business.

You will have excellent attention to detail, great organisational skills and the ability to liaise and communicate with internal and external personnel at all levels. You will be able to use your own initiative and act independently, as well as collaborative with the rest of the team.
