Fraud Analyst

Becoming a Fraud Analyst with Pay360:

In this role you will be closely supporting the Senior Risk Manager in all duties surrounding the ongoing fraud management of the existing merchant portfolio. You will also Support the ongoing fraud management of the payment facilitation portfolio.

You will be assisting the risk function as the fraud SME within the team and offering support when required and ensure that Pay360 is not unduly exposed due to fraud risk present through monitoring of Merchant performance

What you will do:

* Utilisation of fraud tools and systems to affect positive outcomes for both the business and customers.
* Utilising data analysis skills to identify trends and patterns from fraud and chargeback reports.
* Proactively work with customers to reduce instances of fraud and chargebacks through identification of gaps in current process and procedure.
* Provide ongoing consultancy to customers around their fraud prevention activities.
* Manage customers on card scheme chargeback and fraud programmes to affect a positive outcome.
* Working closely with the Compliance analyst to determine the required KYC checks to prevent application fraud. Review effectiveness of current monitoring rules and settings and provide feedback on ways to optimise.
* Understanding end to end fraud operations processes and delivering improvements to increase efficiency.

Your experience will include:

* Educated to A’level standard or equivalent
* Ability to manipulate and interpret data to assess and explain patterns and trends
* Excellent analytical skills
* Strong team player with excellent communications skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
* Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build effective working relationships and deal professionally with any issues
* Excellent negotiating and proven influencing skills
* Strong and effective communication skills
