Salary: £10,143 – £11,535 per annum plus Local Government pension

We require a dynamic, methodical, organised individual to join our Finance team by providing support to our Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the processing and maintenance of financial records and reports of our subsidiary company. You will working closely with lead team members to enable them to deliver maximum trading profits.

The role is based at The Wellington Academy, which is a highly inclusive, innovative 21st century school, opened in 2009 to serve the Tidworth area of Wiltshire, which includes part of the new Salisbury Plain army super garrison. Other members of the Trust include a Primary School based in Tidworth, a day-care nursery and our Enterprise Company. The position may require an element of travel to other sites as the Wellington Academy Trust grows.

To be considered for the role you must possess a good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s graded A (7) – C (4) and have an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel. The ideal candidate will be part/fully qualified in AAT and have previous accounting knowledge. You must be able to manage your time effectively and work to deadlines. You will have excellent communication skills and act in a discrete and confidential manner. There can be some flexibility with start and finish times for the right candidate.
