Citizenship Teacher Urgently Needed in Waltham Forest- Maternity Cover

A Star Teacher are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our long standing client schools in Waltham Forest. They are looking for a Citizenship Teacher to start as soon as possible covering a member of staff who is going off on maternity leave.

The school is OFSTED rated ‘Good’. It was noted in the inspection that ‘The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school… building on strengths and tackling the areas identified for improvement to good effect… Consequently, the pupils’ behaviour has remained a strength of the school and their progress has improved’.

They are a successful and oversubscribed school at an exciting stage in their development. The school moved to a fantastic new site in September 2015 and achieved their best ever GCSE results in 2018.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner to join the Humanities Department. They are looking for a Teacher to teach Citizenship across the Key Stages.

Please do apply if you are interested in the position and I will be happy to talk about the next stages
