Mobile Facilities Soft Services Manager
We are seeking to recruit for a Temporary Cover Area Soft Services Manager / Area Facilities Manager covering Reading down to Yeovil. The role is interim contract cover for 6 - 12 weeks - based on working Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - Paying £16.82 per hour.
As Soft Services / Facilities Manager you will control, review and manage the security, catering, cleaning, switchboard and reception services, office services, grounds maintenance and landscaping, back office functions and general accommodation and housekeeping services at key accommodation, depots and operational sites.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall management and development of a team of site and mobile staff to deliver excellence in customer service and operational delivery.
Manage and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and good practice in place at any time and ensure SQE requirements at met.
Work with the Account Director to align and deliver strategic targets and management of key account objectives in line with the overall business objectives.
Work with and advise the client on identifying and minimising their business risks, best practice and to assist with aligning a tailored and flexible delivery solution.
Responsible for the control, monitoring and management of the soft services profit and loss account, invoicing and debt control.
Lead regular operational meetings / team briefings with teams to deliver clear understanding of business objectives, contract performance and display excellence in communication.
Work with the Account Director on the development of innovation and best practice standards to implement and deliver consistently across all operational aspects of service.
Develop and maintain close business relationships with clients' operational personnel and management teams to align delivery requirements / standards with client expectations.
Ensure all operational services and agreed contract objectives are consistently delivered on time and in accordance to the contract requirements.
Conduct regular performance reviews with third party suppliers operating across the soft services contracts with the aim of driving out best value and performance.
Conduct regular and ad-hoc audits to monitor the performance of services across the portfolio.
Lead, deliver and display all aspects of the cultural and behaviours programme at all times to set the high standards expected from all staff within the team.
Ensure that all company communications are cascaded to team members in a timely manner as and when required.
Relevant industry experience in a management role.
HNC Qualification or equivalent
BICS Trained - Desirable
SIA Nobn Front Line Licensed - Desirable
