Internal Communications Executive

£27,000 -£30,000 (Negotiable on experience)


My client is a £28 million turnover business, have been a market leader in energy for 50 years and employ more than 350 people. The business has ambitious plans for growth expansion this year, and due to continued success, the opportunity to recruit an Internal Communications Executive has arisen.

It’s an exciting time to join the team. The leadership of the business is committed to achieving sustained growth and to investing heavily in new digital platforms; both to better serve existing clients and as a key element of their client acquisition strategy.


  • This newly created role will be a key part of a recently expanded marketing team; that is committed to tightly segmenting their chosen markets and delivering truly multi-channel campaigns focused on lead generation.
  • You will certainly be busy, but we can also promise an environment eager to embrace change and new ideas; with the opportunity to grow and develop your expertise.
  • The role embraces all the aspects normally expected of a communications executive. The challenge will be to; manage and deliver all digital aspects of the organisations' communications campaigns and act as subject matter expert in optimising the organisation’s route map to greater marketing automation.
  • You will be responsible for their intranet and digital platforms, with specific responsibility for the quality of the content.
  • You'll be working closely with their senior leadership team to develop and own internal content communications
  • You will be challenged to engage their internal teams with consistently quality and thought-provoking content
  • Work with recruitment to help improve the employer brand


  • Degree in Marketing related discipline with a clear digital emphasis (essential)
  • Previous demonstrable experience of working within a digital marketing role (essential)
  • Highly proficient technical and analytical ability
  • Experience of working with Salesforce CRM and Pardot marketing automation tools (desirable)
  • Familiarity with leading web development and content management tools
  • Evidence of the ability to analyse communication challenges and apply digital innovation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to work to deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management- internal and external
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills- verbal and written
