My client is a growing successful IT Services Company, based in Portsmouth. They are currently looking for several IT Support Engineer roles, who will be providing 1st line through to 3rd line (depending on experience). The right candidates will provide hands on/remote support for issues raised by customers. Must be customer focused and good at dealing with people face to face and over the telephone.


* Raising incidents, service requests, changes and problems using the service desk gathering appropriate detail to aid troubleshooting and resolution

* Taking ownership of problems and ensuring that they are resolved and the customer is kept updated

*Remotely supporting customers with any aspect of their IT systems and where required making onsite visits to ensure problems are resolved

* Setting up deploying and maintaining IT equipment at customer sites from switches, routers and firewalls through to PC's and servers

About you:

* 2+ years' experience working in an IT support role

* Full driving licence and access to own vehicle

* Willing to occasionally commute to customer offices

* Clear, consise and friendly telephone/ desk manor

Key skills:

* Office 365 deployment and administration

* Office 365 security and troubleshooting including eDiscovery

* Windows 2012 /2016 Server deployment and administration, Hybrid deployment with O365

* Firewall configuration, Cisco ASA, Sophos XG etc

* Backup solutions such as Symantec and veeam

* Anti-Virus deployment and management, Sophos Central etc

* Windows 7-10 support, troubleshootin, imaging and deployment
