The Warehouse Operative will be a temporary position. You will work with the Warehouse team to promote H&S, ensuring efficient, safe and accurate handling and processing of stock, and delivery of high-quality service to all customers.

The hours of work are on a rotating shift of 8:00 – 17:00, 8:30 – 17:30, or 9:00 – 18:00, Monday – Friday, including one-hour daily break.

Duties will include but not limited to:

* Undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with Company goods in process, ensuring product is correctly located within the Warehouse

* Pick customer orders (including product identification and pallet build) as per Company processes, undertaking all necessary controls and making available for Dispatch

* Dispatch outgoing orders in line with Company processes

* Assist with regular and spot stock takes, as required

* Ensure all stock is stored, handled and transported securely and in line with Company procedures and H&S guidelines

* Work with team members to ensure the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with Company and legislative standards at all times

* Ensure all packaging is disposed of safely and in line with Company processes, recycling where possible

* Build a reputable profile and create a good impression of Celestra, and adhere to Company rules and standards, including when working or travelling off-site

* Any ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business

The successful candidate will have/be:

* Proven experience in working in a logistics/ warehouse environment, within Pick, Inventory, Goods In and/or Dispatch departments

* Attention to detail

* IT literate, proven experience in using WMS ( Warehouse Management System), Excel

* Great verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to plan and prioritise workload

* Understanding and commit to safe working practices

* Ability to work in a fast paced and pressurised environment

* Ability to work on own initiative and be a team player

Salary: £8.21 to £8.50 /hour
