We are seeking a site based BIM Manager for the Amey Sir Robert McAlpine JV for the recently awarded Highways England Delivery Integration Partnership, with the initial project being the M6 Junction 19 and M56 Junction 11a. Reporting to the contract Framework Partnership Director and supported by the Regional BIM Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the project's BIM Strategy. The successful candidate will establish the Common Data Environment set up, be responsible for project focussed BIM Management and where applicable BIM Coordination. It will cover various BIM Management elements such as the design phase, construction phase, handover and soft landings.
You will have relevant construction industry experience with a proven track record of implementing BIM within a civil engineering environment. Applicants will need to demonstrate good 3D technical proficiency producing models with Revit or equivalent and clash detection experience using Navisworks Management and/or Solibri. Ideally applicants will have good 4D technical proficiency with Synchro, AstaBIM or Navisworks and the experience of managing personnel. You will have a flexible working attitude, be a self-starter and have excellent time management skills. You will have a relevant construction related qualification and will ideally have achieved Chartered status.
