Are you a Finance Manager looking for a new opportunity to join a Business in Andover who really value their employees?

As an active member of the team you will be responsible for producing monthly forecasting preparations and presentations within the Finance team.

To prepare the month end and statutory reporting and to ensure compliance at all times.

Key responsibilities and duties of this position include as follows:

* To lead the Budget, forecasting and Reporting Processes.

* Supervise the general ledger bookings, the statutory and fiscal returns, credit management and the accounting processes.

* Assist the Finance team as required to prepare actual reporting to three separate business units.

* Performing allocation of costs and revenue to support actual reporting.

* Review and analyse the Actual reporting- prepare variance analysis compared to prior expected numbers/budget and Business Plan.

* Take ownership of the numbers and understand GM by product line, customer mix and cost allocation in detail.

* Set budgets by department and track progress throughout the year.

* Manage general contracts (Rent, leasing, insurance).

* Supervise the internal controls of the Company.

* Interact with internal and statutory auditors, as well as legal entity parent company as needed.

* Monitor trends and track the business closely.

* Develop a good business understanding.

* Work with sales and customer services to improve processes and transactional controls.

* Work as part of the senior management team to drive growth and improve profitability.

* Work with the CFO Motion to build cost out reporting and to understand and maintain BOM’s in Oracle – labour and material.

* Develop the finance team and implement improved processes on a continual basis.

* Support Trade compliance gate keeper where needed from a financial perspective.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate as follows:

* Provide excellent communication and English skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the Company.

* Experience of Oracle ERP system (Other ERP’s beneficial)

* Advanced Excel ability including look Ups/Pivots/Macros.

* Good power point ability and presentation preparation experience.

* Actively show leadership qualities and work to develop those within the Organization

* Experience in presenting numbers to a diverse and varied audience

* Attention to detail.

* Problem solving and issue recognition.

* Team player with excellent work ethic.

* Ability to work on own initiative.

* Experience of managing a team including remote workers.

* Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines with flexibility to extend working hours at peak activity periods.

* Enjoys supporting other areas of the business with a financial perspective and can challenge behaviours as needed to ensure strong compliance.

* Trustworthy, good timekeeper, ethical

Required Education and Experience.

* University degree or Professional finance qualification

* Understanding of Financial Accounting functions

* Financial accounting experience, 5 years plus
