Our client company are a highly acclaimed, long established financial services firm based in Milton Keynes and London. They have developed a well-respected business with an excellent team ethic. They are looking for a Mortgage Administrator to support one of their highly productive Mortgage Advisers.
Roles and responsibilities - Mortgage Administrator
In your role as a Mortgage Administrator, you will be focused on providing pre-sale support to ensure factfinds are updated with latest figures; analysing proof of income to obtain figures for the mortgage to be calculated on and ensure all relevant documents are collected in readiness. The Mortgage Adviser you will be supporting completes a high level of mortgages per month with majority being sold protection / insurance.
Career progression to Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Whilst this could suit an individual looking for a career as a Mortgage Administrator / Mortgage Paraplanner; this could also suit someone looking to transition into Trainee Mortgage Adviser role after 18 - 24 months.
Working hours flexibility for a Mortgage Administrator
This is role could also be considered as a part-time position with working hours such as, to suit school times e.g. 9am - 3pm Monday to Friday.
Requirements to be considered for a Mortgage Administrator
You should have experience of mortgage administration and have awareness of requirements needed to enable mortgage advice to be provided. In addition, you should have good communication skills and strong maths skills. CeMAP qualification is not essential but would be beneficial
- Salary of circa £17,000 - £18,000 (pro-rata) dependent upon experience and qualifications
- Could either be full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time role
- Working from their modern offices in Milton Keynes
- Training and development available to enhance your Mortgage Administrator skills and duties
- Supporting a highly productive Mortgage Adviser
