Our client based in Rochester is looking to recruit a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their busy IT support and operations team, supporting a range of Microsoft technologies, security appliances, IP telephony and CCTV.

The main duties of the role will be to provide 1st line telephone support, dealing with support tickets and operational tasks required to supporting technologies across multiple customer sites.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills including a good telephone manner, and a genuinely customer-focused approach. Candidates will ideally have worked within 1st Line Support for a minimum of 1 year with proven experience in a similar support environment.

The hours of work are normally Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm or 8am to 4.30pm. Work might involve onsite visits and some weekend work. Weekend work based on an agreed overtime rate.

A valid driving license is required
