Bookkeeper
A modern and growing Accountancy Practice are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper from an industry or practice background. To be considered for this position it would be advantageous if you have used the following accounts packages; Sage, Quickbooks or Xero.
The Bookkeeper will be liaising with clients via the telephone and email, therefore it is essential that you have a good telephone manner and effective communication skills. To be considered for this role you need to possess a full UK drivers' licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Bookkeeper Duties and Responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio of clients and being their first point of contact
* Day to day bookkeeping
* Sales & purchase ledger
* Quarterly VAT returns
* Sorting invoices, preparing spreadsheets, submission of forms to tight deadlines
* Updating internal databases.
You will have the following experience:
* Good understanding of bookkeeping processes
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Team player happy to help others
* Good Sage & Excel experience
* Be able to work to strict deadlines
Full or Part-time. Full-time 40 hours between 8:30am - 5:30pm - Monday to Friday
Part-time 24 hours - 3 days per week
