A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a market leading company based in Goole in the role of an Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Manager.

My client is looking for a focused and ambitious individual who will be able to lead a well driven team of 10 and undertake the responsibility for the collection of a turnover of over 90 Million with a circa of 2,000 outstanding credit accounts.

This is a full-time role with an attractive salary of 40-45k per annum.

Key Duties

* Monthly reporting of Query and Debts with presentations

* Ledger reviews

* Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Reconciliations

* Overseeing of monthly direct debit runs

* Policy and Procedure creation and control

* Monitoring KPIs

* Ledger reviews with the Credit Control team

* Credit approval of new accounts

* Monitor volume calling

* Oversee monthly Direct Debit runs

* To ensure prompt action is given to customer correspondence to ensure customer satisfaction

* To liaise with all departments to ensure disputes are resolved within company guidelines

* Liaise with the solicitors for accounts passed legal

* BACS run approval / AP weekly payment runs

* Oversee document management in DocuWare

* Supplier contact / query resolution

* GRNI control

* No PO No Pay audit and compliance

* Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable unallocated cash control

* Policy and procedure control and creation

* Special projects as requested by the UK & Ops Financial Controller

* Other ad hoc duties relating to the AR & AP ledgers

* Flexible approach especially during the company’s quarter and year end accounting periods

Remuneration Package

* Salary of £40 – £45k

* 40 hours per week
